Evergreen Co-op Social Club
Our Mission
Evergreen Co-op Social Club was formed by a group of parents who have come together to foster a creative, enriching learning environment for our children ages 3-17. The co-op, which meets in Stamford, Connecticut, is held two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays (one-day options available) from September through May on a trimester schedule. Students have the opportunity to take a wide variety of classes. This is a multi-age cooperative dedicated to hands-on learning with enrichment-focused STEAM topics taught by parents with expertise and resources. Students will learn how to problem solve together, present to others and find their passion for learning. They will have multiple options to choose three classes a day to participate in based on age and/or interest. Parents who are not teaching will support the instructor with cleaning up or setting up. Some of our additional past events with student participation and leadership have included an entrepreneur fair, field day, talent show, yearbook and other special events throughout the year showcasing their talent and interests. We are creating a community for our children to learn and grow throughout the year.
